Midtown Brews is a monthly public forum to build open networks to accelerate business development in the Midtown and Downtown area. Forums are free and open to the public.

The 2008 Midtown Brews programs focus on innovation opportunities in technology, the creative industries, and energy. The open conversations are lead by George Nemeth, Gloria Ferris, and Tim Ferris of Meet The Bloggers, one of this country's leading blogger networks.

Conversations are inspired by business leaders addressing new innovation opportunities to accelerate economic development.

The Midtown Brews offers a neutral environment for conversations that are a combination of public participation and guided leadership direction. Business, government, academic and civic leaders discuss topics and legacy issues in focused conversations sharing information and engaging in a process of "strategic doing", or defining what's next?

I-Open civic forums, such as Midtown Brews, build social networks and provide new opportunities for private business leadership to collaborate on issues affecting regional prosperity.
